Kuna, ID (RestaurantNews.com) Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food is bringing its Hawaiian plate lunches to the Treasure Valley with a new restaurant opening Nov. 6 at 1460 E. Deer Flat Road in Kuna. The opening marks the brand’s 10th restaurant in Idaho as it continues growing across the state.
Ahead of the grand opening, Mo’ Bettahs will host a Friends and ‘Ohana celebration Thursday, Nov. 5, inviting the community to get a first taste of the new restaurant. Guests can enjoy complimentary mini plates and drinks Thursday during lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner and a block-party-style celebration from 5 to 7 p.m. featuring samples, merch and a photo booth.
“Food tastes better when it’s shared, and that’s the heart of everything we do,” said Kimo Mack, co-founder of Mo’ Bettahs. “Kuna is a close-knit town, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone in, pass around the plates and bring a little more ‘ohana to the neighborhood.”
Founded in Bountiful, Utah, in 2008 by brothers Kimo and Kalani Mack, Mo’ Bettahs was built around the recipes and traditions they grew up with on O’ahu. The brand serves Hawaiian-style plate lunches featuring favorites like grilled teriyaki chicken and steak, kalua pig, pulehu chicken, katsu chicken and shrimp tempura, paired with steamed rice, vegetables and the brand’s signature macaroni salad.
The Kuna restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and closed Sundays.
