Why Should I Meal Plan?

If you haven’t tried planning your meals ahead of time, this is going to be a game-changer for you! Here’s why I swear by meal planning:

  • Time Saver: Say goodbye to 4:00 PM dinner panic. With a meal plan, you know exactly what’s on the menu and exactly what you need.
  • Money Saver: Meal planning works wonders for your wallet. When you organize your shopping list for the week, you’ll easily spot opportunities to buy in bulk and creatively repurpose leftovers for future meals. It’s a clever approach that keeps more money in your pocket.
  • Bye-Bye Takeout: When meals are planned and groceries are stocked, you’re less likely to hit the drive-thru. That means more savings and healthier eating. Win-win!

Meal Planning with Leftovers

I only meal plan Monday through Friday because we sometimes have plans over the weekend, or I have leftovers that we can use to finish off the week. If you have leftovers, store them properly in an airtight container in your fridge.
