Why This Skillet Always Wins
Faster and Cheaper Than Delivery: In just 15 minutes, you’ve got a flavor-packed dinner that beats takeout every time. It also uses minimal and budget-friendly ingredients. So affordable!
Sweet Heat Obsession: The chili-garlic sauce and brown sugar combo creates a saucy coating with the perfect balance of flavor.
One Pan Wonder: Everything cooks in one skillet for easy cleanup and zero dinner stress.
Ingredients for Dragon Noodles
Type of Noodle: Dragon noodles are typically made with ramen noodles. I love the Buldok brand and discard the seasonings. Linguine or spaghetti work great as well.
Ground Pork: Adds rich, savory flavor, but you can also use ground beef, turkey, or chicken. It is also very common to use scrambled eggs as the protein in this dish!
Nuts: Cashews are a great alternative if you prefer something other than peanuts.
Chili Garlic Sauce: It’s easily adjustable, but it is a key ingredient in this dish! You can use sriracha if thats what you have on hand.
Add Veggies: Feel free to toss in extras like bell peppers, carrots, snap peas, or cabbage to bulk the dish up and add color.
How to Make Dragon Noodles
My family loves these dragon noodles! I love them too because they are fast, easy, and full of flavor. We usually eat them on their own, but they also go well with veggie egg rolls, edamame, or a simple cucumber salad.
Cook Noodles: Cook the ramen noodles according to the package directions. Drain the noodles in a colander and set aside. Ramen noodles cook fast; I only cook mine for 3 minutes!
Cook Pork: In a large skillet, add sesame oil and ground pork. Cook over medium-high heat for 7-8 minutes, or until no longer pink.
Make Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, and ginger paste.
Add Sauce: Stir the sauce and peanuts into the cooked pork to combine. Simmer the pork and sauce for 3 minutes.
Serve: Add the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet and toss to coat everything in the sauce. Top Dragon Noodles with sliced green onions and serve!
