Buffalo, NY (RestaurantNews.com) As consumer demand for frozen blended beverages continues to grow, f’real By Rich’s is expanding its back-of-house Blend n’ Serve Program with the launch of a high-powered, connected blender and two new flavors of Orange Creamsicle® Milkshake and Frozen Lemonade. Now all foodservice operations from convenience stores to limited-service restaurants can create fun, freshly blended frozen beverages in around a minute with minimal labor and preparation time. Frozen blended beverages aren’t just for dessert – they’re also enjoyed as sweet snacks and meal substitutes. According to the Foodservice IP Beverage Survey (March 2026), 31% of consumers replace meals with frozen blended beverages, while 19% drink them as treats or indulgences. In fact, 83% of consumers say they love or like milkshakes, and 59% had ice cream or a shake at least once in the last week per the Datassential Keynote Report, Desserts, 2026.

The f’real Blend n’ Serve Program makes it easy to serve delicious frozen drinks with pre-portioned cups and a simple blend process. There’s no measuring, scooping or pouring required, and operators can create beverages quickly and consistently with minimal training, prep or cleanup. This new blender is simple to operate: Place a cup in the blender, press start, remove it from the machine, and clean the spindle. To add pizzaz, top it off with Rich’s On Top® Whipped Topping, or customize with a variety of mix-ins or toppings for Instagram appeal.
The new f’real Blend n’ Serve Blender is an elevated version of the current machine with a powerful and quiet motor, streamlined design and intuitive user interface. It features a mix-in mode that pauses so the user can add inclusions like candy, chopped baked goods, or liquids. Smart Blending Technology includes a color touchscreen with easy-to-navigate user menus and adjustable thickness settings for perfect consistency. High-tech solutions include software allowing remote updates, an app and portal that track blender status and history, and remote service and support.

To quench consumers’ thirst for frozen treats this summer, f’real By Rich’s is introducing two new flavors. The Orange Creamsicle® Milkshake made in partnership with Good Humor® brings the iconic Creamsicle® Bar to life with smooth, creamy vanilla and bright orange citrus flavor in every sip. Instantly recognizable, endlessly craveable and built to drive trial with a brand consumers already love, operators can entice consumers by adding the popular Creamsicle® name and logo on their menus.
Playing off the popularity of summertime citrus flavors, f’real® Blend n’ Serve Frozen Lemonade is the brand’s first non-dairy Blend n’ Serve offering. Featuring real lemon juice (10%), the smooth, slushy-style beverage delivers the perfect balance of sweet and tart.
Lemonade is a familiar favorite, as 60% of foodservice menus include it, and 80% of consumers love or like it (Datassential SNAP Lemonade Report).
Both flavors arrive frozen in pre-portioned 16-ounce cups, packed 12 per case, with a shelf life of 547 days frozen.
In addition to the two new flavors, operators can create blended beverages using a standard f’real shake base and seven “Blend n’ Serve” varieties. The options include: Vanilla Shake, Chocolate Shake, Oreo Shake, Strawberry Shake, Mango Smoothie, Strawberry/Banana Smoothie, and Coffee Frappe.
