Phoenix, AX (RestaurantNews.com) Angry Chickz is bringing the heat to Mesa. The fast-growing Nashville hot chicken brand will open its first restaurant in the city on April 17 at 2105 S. Alma School Road, Suite 102, marking the company’s third Arizona restaurant and its 37th nationwide.
Located along one of Mesa’s main corridors, the new restaurant introduces a concept built on flavor, customizable heat levels and a focused menu designed to deliver craveable Nashville hot chicken.
Angry Chickz has built a passionate following by serving made-to-order tenders, sliders, and bowls with six heat levels ranging from “Country” (no heat) to its famously fiery “Angry” level, which requires guests to sign a waiver before ordering. Fan-Favorite menu items include the brand’s signature chicken tenders and sliders, as well as indulgent dishes like the Angry Mac, featuring crispy tenders served over fries and creamy mac and cheese.
“Mesa is exactly the kind of community we want to put down roots in – strong local pride, steady growth and a real appetite for new dining experiences,” said David Mkhitaryan, founder and CEO of Angry Chickz. “As we continue expanding, our focus stays the same: deliver serious flavor, keep the experience high-energy and make sure every guest feels taken care of.”
The Mesa location will also prioritize local hiring, reinforcing the brand’s goal of building a team that reflects and supports the surrounding community. Arizona continues to be a strong market for Angry Chickz, and the Mesa opening represents another step forward in the brand’s broader growth strategy as it expands across the Southwest.
