National Sandwich Day

The sandwich is completely American - quick, easy, and fattening.  Yes, Jay is ready to dismantle the lies that Subway’s Jared tells.  And if you don’t eat a sandwich on this day, you are letting the terrorists win.

Sandwich Fun Facts:

-The sandwich was named after John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich, an 18th-century English aristocrat, although he did not invent it.

-It is believed that Lord Sandwich was fond of this form of food because it allowed him to continue playing cards while eating without getting his cards greasy from eating meat with his bare hands.
